The PFM-LNP is equipped with the Intel® Atom N450 1.66 GHz processor with the ICH8M chipset to be energy-efficient and provide rich functionality and flexibility. The module can support DDR II 667 system memory, up to 1GB so the module can do deliver more as a complete solution without the need for additional components. It uses the Intel® 82567V for one 10/100/1000Base-TX Ethernet interface. In addition, PFM-LNP offers flexible I/O interfaces of four USB2.0 ports, three RS-232 serial ports and one serial port than can be configured for RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485. To fulfill the high demands for versatile expansion, the PFM-LNP supports PCI-104 and one Mini-PCI express (Mini-Card). Furthermore, this model equips one SATA II interface and one Type I CompactFlash slot for operating system and storage use.
