AAEON launches a new Mini PCI module-PER-C40C. The PER-C40C has two or four individually configurable RS-232 ports. It works with your CPU board to increase the number of RS-232 ports. The PER-C40C can use the Mini PCI 3.3V input voltage by adopting the OXFORD OXmPCI952/ OXmPCI954 which has an integrated power circuit inside that allows the PER-C40C to be small in size and economical.
The PER-C40C has 2 or 4 RS-232 ports that can straighten out the problem of a lack of sufficient expansion ports. The form factor of the PER-C40C is a Mini PCI Type IIIA, and the OS support includes the Linux and Windows XP Pro platforms.
