ATLANTA Drive Systems, Inc. Single Strand Chain 15 07 000

Description
The chain drive is to be designed in such a way that A) link plates and pins are able to withstand the tensile loads to be transmitted, B) the rollers withstand the strain when entering the sprocket wheel, C) the wear in the links consisting of bushings and pins is within the admissible limits throughout the service life expected, D) the wear of the tooth fanks is within the admissible limits throughout the life expected. Chain drives reach a satisfactory service life only if the chain sprocket wheels are in proper alignment, suffcient lubrication is ensured, a possibility for retensioning the chains to compensate for elongation occurring during operation is provided for, and if vibrations of the tight and slack length or torsional vibrations of the entire drive are eliminated. Sag in the slack length should amount to approx. 1% of the centre distance.
