ATI Industrial Automation Radially Compliant Deburring Tools RD-390-NL-E

Description
Historically, deburring and material removal has largely been a manual operation due to the limitations of previously available automated deburring tools. Conventional automated deburring tools can perform adequately along a straight edge or surface, with little or no compliance for cavities or protrusions, but these tools ultimately fail when part tolerances or paths are not exact. The Engineers at ATI have developed three types of compliant deburring tools that make automated deburring cells a safe, consistent, and economical process. Ideally suited for removal of parting lines and flash on parts. Lube-free vane motor (use of lubricated air is optional). Unit also deburrs edges, significantly reduces cycle time. Built-in compliance reduces robot programming. Cutting force adjustable on-the-fly. Mounts to robot arm on side of deburring unit. Can utilize many industrial finishing media including tungsten-carbide burrs, brushes, and flap wheels. Minimal chattering and vibration. Great replacement for hand deburring operations. Weight (without mounts) 12.5 lb Compliance Travel @ Collet 0.3 in Compliance Travel Recommended 0.15 in Compliance Force (Pneumatically Variable) 5 lbf - 15 lbf Idle Speed 5600 rpm Air Consumption (Idle) 19 cfm Air Consumption (Stall) 22 cfm Air Connections (Spindle) 1/4 NPT with G1/4 Adapter Air Connections (Compliance) 5/32" Tube Collet DA200 8mm + 6mm Power 390 W @ 2600 rpm Mounting Feature Side
