The SC2000 is a modular instrument with 5 expansion slots in the rear. These slots can be populated with SCM series modules. The SC2000 mainframe can further be expanded by adding SCX2000 expansion mainframes each adding five additional module slots, but controlled by the original SC2000. The SCP2000 series are SC2000 mainframes preconfigured with RF switch modules that are direct replacements for the previous Model SC1000 and its M numbers.
