AMETEK Land’s camera auto-retraction systems are engineered to automatically retract and safeguard the thermal imager, preventing overheating or damage in the case of cooling or purge flow loss or loss of electrical power supply. As components of a full furnace imaging system or as an upgrade to existing furnace camera systems AMETEK Land offers complete auto-retraction system solutions, in either pressured air or electrically driven configurations. The retraction systems can be combined with all non-hazardous area furnace camera systems, water-cooled and air purged or air cooled and air purged for a wide range of application. EAR – ELECTRICAL AUTO-RETRACTION SYSTEM The AMETEK Land Electrical Auto-Retraction System is designed specifically for environments where pressurized air is the sole option for purging. It integrates a battery to guarantee safe retraction in case of air flow loss, power supply interruption, or a high borescope tip temperature alarm.
