The Thunder® Hybrid Virtual Appliance (HVA) combines the flexibility of virtualized machines with high-performance hardware in one appliance. Thunder HVA virtualized instances deliver strong isolation and multi-tenancy. FEATURES & BENEFITS STRONG ISOLATION MULTI-TENANCY Multi-tenant HVA models use vThunder® instances with strong isolation for complete operating system and data separation to enable individual policy management. SSL ACCELERATION Overcome traditional virtual limitations by offloading CPU-intensive SSL/TLS decryption processing directly to single-root I/O virtualization (SR-IOV) and dedicated SSL hardware. RUN 40 VIRTUAL INSTANCES Run up to 40 vThunder ADC and CGN instances on one HVA unit. Either instance type can be deployed on demand, with all instance types running concurrently on the same unit. HYPERVISOR PARTITIONING ADPs and L3 virtualization (L3V) support up to 32 partitions per software instance, enabling densities of over 1,000 partitions on select HVA models.
