3M 63 Tape is a clear, 2.0-mil PTFE film tape with an acrylic adhesive, designed for applications requiring chemical resistance rather than high-temperature performance. The tape has a total thickness of 3.5 mils (0.088 mm) and is supplied on 3-inch cores with a standard roll length of 36 yards. It features a dielectric breakdown voltage of 9500 volts and an insulation resistance greater than 1 megohm. The tape exhibits a breaking strength of 20 lbs/in and an elongation at break of 200%. It is UL-recognized for flame retardancy and is suitable for use on coils, capacitors, and wire harnesses. The adhesion to steel is measured at 35 oz/in. This product is RoHS compliant.
