3M,Ñ¢ Bumpon,Ñ¢ Protective Product SJ5600 series is a resilient rollstock made from clear polyurethane with a thickness of 0.8 mm. It features a high-strength acrylic-based, pressure-sensitive adhesive that provides excellent shear properties at elevated temperatures. The adhesive adheres well to various surfaces, including glass, metals, and high surface energy plastics, but is not suitable for low surface energy plastics or powder-coated surfaces. The product has a hardness rating of 75 Shore M and demonstrates good abrasion resistance, with a low wear rate of 0.13 gm/1000 cycles. It can withstand service temperatures ranging from -34°C to 66°C, with intermittent exposure up to 107°C. The recommended maximum load capacity is 100 psi at standard conditions. This rollstock is designed for interior applications, offering excellent cushioning properties, vibration and shock damping, and resistance to yellowing. It can be die-cut into various shapes for applications such as cushioning, skid resistance, and surface protection. The product has a shelf life of 18 months when stored properly.
