Some of the manufacturing processes for fabricated parts are not the most economical or environmentally friendly, and can have a major impact on the environment, and your bottom line.
Following the principles of ecodesign, Vicone strives to minimize its impact on the environment, and reduce your costs, so whenever possible, we will try to design a part that can be molded or extruded (and vulcanized). The goal is for the part to not only meet your requirements, but be cost-effective (less waste from off cuts) and less damaging to our environment.
This is especially true when we are using high performance raw materials that are expensive. By reducing the volume of the part (no off-cuts= less waste).
Vicone can help you apply ecodesign principles at the conception or adaptation stage for your parts project. We can support you in creating a new product, optimizing an existing product design or simply choosing the best suited material for your specific application. It™s our goal to help you reach your performance objectives so you can be at your best.
