BIOSTAT® CultiBag RM 20 optical DH-020LORM-2
BIOSTAT® CultiBag RM single-use bioreactor for the cultivation of all cell types, including mammalian cells, plant cells, insect cells, stem cells and microbial cells. Application-driven packages are available for culturing from 100 ml to 300 l. BIOSTAT® CultiBag RM is a single-use bioreactor utilising rocking motion agitation with low shear. The feedback control loops using single use sensors for pH and DO, bring new levels of confidence to process development.
The BIOSTAT® CultiBag RM is a rocking motion single use bioreactor for disposable cultivation bags in various sizes with working volumes from 100 mL to 300 L. The rocker unit moves back and forth, generating a fluid movement in the cell culture and medium with low shear. Easy to use, it is suitable for all cell types, including mammalian cells, plant cells, insect cells, stem cells and microbial cells. Three different designs of this system are available.
BIOSTAT® CultiBag RM Basic
The BIOSTAT® CultiBag RM Basic is a flexible stand alone unit for R&D, seed and small scale production.
BIOSTAT® CultiBag RM Optical
The BIOSTAT® CultiBag RM Optical provides full process automation with sophisticated feedback control. It consists of a rocker and a digital control unit.. The control tower is connected to the rocking unit for monitoring and controlling the culture, including pO2, pH, agitation and temperature in batch and fed batch mode of operation.
BIOSTAT® CultiBag RM Perfusion
The BIOSTAT® CultiBag RM Perfusion consists of an optical system plus harvest and feed pumps, two balances and an automated perfusion control.
BIOSTAT® CultiBag RM
The BIOSTAT® CultiBag RM bag is optimised for cell cultivation. Bags are available in multiple sizes and configurations depending on customer requirements. The contact layer is made of EVA, which shows an excellent biocompatibility. Optical bags are equipped with single use optical sensors for measurement of pH and pO2. Perfusion bags contain a special membrane optimised for cell retention and high total throughput. The bags are fully assembled including the sensors and are gamma sterilised. They are shipped ready to use.
Inclusive BioPAT® MFCS/DA data logging software
The BIOSTAT® CultiBag RM is available in total volumes of 1 l, 2 l, 10 l, 20 l, 50 l, 100 l, 200 l to 600 l
CultiBag®RM optical and perfusion are equipped with precise single use pH and DO probes
Available as a single rocker or twin rocker version
Reduces/eliminates the need of SIP and CIP
Reduces setup and turnaround time
Reduces risk of cross contamination
