Storm keypads are groups of switches used to enter data into computers and controllers of electronic systems. They are designed and manufactured to resist damage by liquids, dust, vibration, and shock. Storm 1000 Series, PLX Series, and GFX Series are identical in size and mounting specifications, allowing easy price/performance selection for different environments. Available in 4, 12, and 16 key versions, each keypad is available in two legend formats. The 4 key version is available with either arrow or F1-F4 keys. The 12 and 16 key versions are available in telephone or calculator legend format. All keypads include instructions and a sealing gasket.
Storm's 6000 Series keypad is perfectly suited for vending applications, access control devices or any public data entry device. Large, brightly colored keys with raised tactile symbols ensure maximum usability by those with visual or mobility impairments. The 6000 Series keypad features Storm's patented weather and vandal resistant switch technology, which allows these devices to be confidently deployed in the harshest outdoor/public environments. Illuminated 6000 Series Keypad: Make data entry as easy as possible, with large, bright keys. Each key on Storm's illuminated 6000 Series Keypad is back-lit by powerful 4.5 volt LEDs. The LEDs behind each key can be individually controlled to provide feedback to users.
