The Sony HXR-FMU128 Flash Memory Unit is an optional recording device. The unit enables the ability to record to two devices simultaneously, (drive and SD card) realizing an instant backup in the desired format. Additionally, the device is capable of recording exceptionally long run-times; in FW mode (24Mbps), the HXR-FMU128 can record an incredible 11 hours of footage without offloading.
Hybrid Recording
The device is capable of simultaneous recording of HD and HD video footage, along with the combination of HD and SD, realizing an instant backup in the desired format. The 128-GB storage capacity provides continuous recording for almost half a day at the highest bit-rate. Incredible in a unit of such compact size.
