The slip pockets outside are for pens, lens tissue, 9V. battery and other things demanding quick access. The large pouch will hold all kinds of long, flat batteries, tapes, microphones, mic. stands, wide angle lens adapters and more. The special belt holds pouches firmly in place and the 2' quick release buckle goes on in a flash.
