The Tiffen Scene Makers Kit contains the following filters: Tiffen Exclusive Cool Day for Night™ filter: Combined with proper exposure compensation, this filter is a cost effective way to create a realistic dusk or nighttime appearance when filming during the day, simplifying production requirements. The Cool Day for Night is based on the perception that moonlight is cool, therefore, bluish in color. To simulate a feeling of moonlight, a specific shade of lavender is used producing visual coolness while maintaining realistic flesh tones. In addition, since the ability to see details at night is diminished by lower light levels, a low contrast component is added to the filter. This filter is recommended for all digital, photo and video applications. 812® Warming filter: Ideal for portraits or scenics, this filter adds warmth to pale washed-out flesh tones and balances skintones within a scene. It also absorbs blue cast often caused by today's electronic equipment. Circular Polarizer filter: This essential general-use outdoor filter provides color and contrast enhancement.
