The FDP8860 is a 30V N-channel MOSFET designed for high-efficiency DC/DC converters with synchronous or conventional PWM controllers. It is packaged in a TO-220 case with a continuous drain current rating of 80A, limited by the package, and a drain-to-source on-resistance of 2.9 mΩ at VGS=10V and ID=80A. The device has a total gate charge of 158 to 222 nC at 10V and features low Miller charge at 33 nC. Thermal resistance from junction to case is 0.59 °C/W. It is RoHS compliant and supports single-pulse and repetitive avalanche energy up to 673 mJ. The operating and storage junction temperature range is -55°C to 175°C.
