The new SSE-G24-TG4 from Supermicro is a standalone 24-port Layer 2/Layer 3 1/10-Gigabit Ethernet switch. It offers a full suite of advanced Ethernet switching features - the same as in the new Ethernet switch for the Supermicro SuperBlade® server systems. In addition to the 24 ports at 1-gigabit per second, the SSE-G24-TG4 offers up to four 10-gigabit per second "uplink ports".
