The AE0505D08DF is a resin-coated multilayer piezoelectric actuator with a 5 mm × 5 mm cross-section and a 10 mm overall length, designed for precise displacement and force generation in applications such as optical focusing, positioning, and vibration control. It generates a displacement of 9.1 µm at 150 VDC with a generated force of 850 N. The actuator has a resonant frequency of 138 kHz, a capacitance of 0.75 µF at 120 Hz, and an insulation resistance defined by Table 1. It operates within a temperature range of −25°C to +85°C and meets RoHS and REACH compliance standards. The device features a 26 AWG tin-plated copper lead wire with PTFE insulation, and is packaged in bulk. The actuator must be mounted under compression, avoiding tensile or shear forces, and requires a driving voltage not exceeding 150 VDC.
