The TLP620X is an optocoupler consisting of two infrared LED chips connected in reverse parallel and optically coupled to an NPN silicon phototransistor, housed in a 4-pin dual in-line plastic package. It provides 5300 Vrms isolation voltage and operates from -30°C to +100°C. The device is RoHS compliant and meets UL and VDE safety approvals with UL File E91231 and VDE Certificate No. 40028086. It is available in a through-hole DIP4 configuration with standard lead spacing. The current transfer ratio ranges from 50% to 600% at 5 mA forward current and 5 V collector-emitter voltage, with a collector-emitter saturation voltage of 0.4 V at 2.4 mA collector current.
