The ISP844X is a high-density, AC-input phototransistor optically coupled isolator with two inverse-parallel infrared LEDs and dual NPN silicon phototransistors in a dual in-line plastic package. It supports 5.3 kV RMS and 7.5 kV peak input-to-output isolation voltage. The device has a collector-emitter breakdown voltage of 35 V, a maximum collector current of 50 mA, and a minimum current transfer ratio of 20% at ±1 mA forward current and 5 V collector-emitter voltage. The package has a 10 mm lead spread and is surface-mount compatible, certified to CECC 00802. It is approved by UL (E91231), VDE 0884, and certified to EN60950 by Nemko. Operating temperature ranges from -30°C to +100°C, with storage temperatures from -55°C to +125°C. Total power dissipation is 200 mW at 25°C, derating linearly at 2.67 mW/°C above 25°C.
