Screw Terminal Strip, 300 Series, 300 V Voltage Rating The panel and chassis mounted series are ideal for connecting electrical control panels to external power sources, signal sources, other electrical panels and electrical loads of many types and sizes. The electrical panel's or electrical enclosure's internal components and circuitry are connected to their appropriate external electrical circuitry through these terminal blocks. The screw tightened connections result in high contact forces thus promoting safe wire secureness and retention, low electrical resistance and safe reusable connections. All wire retention screws are captive in their towers and they cannot fall out during transportation, installation and use. Series 300 terminal strips are used for connecting stripped, unterminated, solid or stranded copper wires, ranging from 6 to 26 AWG depending on the product selected. Each strip has 12 circuits and can be easily cut to the required number of poles. Mounting holes are provided between each circuit. Captive screws are backed out and ready for wiring. Each circuit has a wire protector to prevent damage to the wire from the turning screw. All metal parts are completely recessed in the flexible polyamide moulding. This dead front design ensures safety and prevents short circuiting. Due to high resistance to vibrations, these terminal strips serve in applications using line voltage motors or in construction vehicle. Terminal strips are also used in Heating⁄ventilation⁄ air conditioning (HVAC) products. Recommended mounting hardware: M3.5 pan head screw (#6-32 pan head screw) or similar sized sheet metal screw, self-tapping screw or rivet When locating connector, allow 0.5 mm clearance around it for process-induced variations.
