ELASTOSIL® RT 779 is a two-part, non-slump, room temperature vulcanizing silicone rubber showing an outstanding oil resistance and an excellent primerless adhesion on polyamide and aluminum. The performance of ELASTOSIL® RT 779 has been tested in cooperation with the INPRO GmbH, Berlin, Germany. Results are available on request. Special features outstanding oil resistance high thermal resistance thixotropic, non-sag low risk of inhibition primerless adhesion on many substrates, espescially Aluminum and PA Application Special FIPG-grade for the glueing and sealing of assemblies with oil contact, e.g. engine housings.
