These couplings are only partly of self-supporting design. On the input side, the weight of the rotating parts is taken up by the main motor shaft; on the output side, a bearing is installed in the scoop tube housing. Coupling type SVNRI can be fitted with a pulley on the output side. sype SVNK has been developed for co-axial outputs, type SVNK vert for verticaly applications.
