ViewMAXTM is a high-performance down converter that converts computer graphics (up to 1600 x 1280) to true broadcast quality in real time. It is designed for professionals who demand the highest image quality, high reliability, and complete control over a
ViewMAX is a full featured down converter that automatically locks to interlaced or non-interlaced computer sources with resolutions up to 1600 x 1280 pixels. Proprietary digital signal processing techniques are used to convert the high-resolution source video to NTSC or PAL composite, S-Video (Y/C), Betacam, and RGB output (SDI output optional).
User selectable output formats including NTSC or PAL, RGB, Betacam, S-Video (Y/C), and digital (SDI) video
Automatically syncs to interlaced and non-interlaced input videos with resolutions up to 1600 x 1280
Accepts RGB (computer) or Y, Pb, Pr (HDTV) video with independent level controls
Accepts high-resolution digital input in DVI format
Dynamic "camera-like" pan and zoom
Image scaling features include independent horizontal and vertical scaling to support aspect ratio conversion, user-selectable underscan, and programmable digital filters with adaptive flicker filtering modes
Picture adjustments control brightness, contrast, hue, saturation, and individual RGB control
Intuitive user interface
RS-232/485 interface supports real-time control of all down converter functions
Internal test pattern generator
Freeze frame
Genlockable outputs for studio applications
View presets are stored in non-volatile memory for subsequent recall
Loop-through with switch selectable termination on all video inputs
Multiple frame buffers eliminate frame rate artifacts
