NX4000TXS transmission server is the key component of the NEXIO server system which provides the real-time I/O and network interface, and attaches and controls the NEXIO Shared SAN (Storage Area Network) components. Leitch's modular and scalable server system enables systems to be built in small incremental steps, making it easy to add channels, bandwidth and storage in a manageable and economic fashion. Each transmission server supports up to four channels of I/O, comes standard with a gigabit Ethernet port with FTP server and provides access to the shared storage using 2Gbps Fibre Channel. Additional transmission server platforms can be attached to the shared storage system to build systems with up to 100 I/O channels and 25 network connections.
