Faroudja Labs The DILA1080pHD Digital Projector Package takes high performance theater to a new level with the introduction of this high-resolution projector using three wide-angle 1920x1080p DILA-based display chips. By having a native resolution equal to full bandwidth High Definition, all the beauty and drama of the original movie can be reproduced in stunning accuracy. Each package is Theater Optimized by video expert William Phelps using proprietary firmware to offer improved contrast ratio and color reproduction for a very analog, film-like image. Faroudja set the standard for video quality in 2000 for high definition 1080p processing with the DVP5000/9" CRT combination. There has not been a digital display that could come close to rivaling that image, until now. The Faroudja HD Digital Video Processor that is packaged with each projector converts all analog and digital high definition and standard definition sources to the native 1920x1080p resolution of the projector.
