AKG Acoustics, U.S. Flat frequency response and a consistent cardioid polar pattern make the CK 91 AMS an ideal tool for applications where good off-axis rejection is required. As Architectural Microphones the microphones are completely customizable. You can chose between different capsule housing designs, different gooseneck lengths, different colours and different surfaces. For proper installation different mounting modules are available. With this unique customizing possibilities conference rooms will never look the same. The Architectural Series microphones are acoustically based on the classic AKG Blue Line Series. This premium studio microphone series is characterized by a very flat frequency response, low self-noise and a consistent polar pattern. The Shaped Sound Series consists of 3 precision transducers with different polar patterns. A cardioid, an omnidirectional and a hypercardioid transducer are available. The capsules are equipped with the Blue Line bayonet coupling system. This makes it easy to quickly change the capsules, e.g. if the room acoustics demands it to change to a different polar pattern. The contacts of the bayonet coupling are self-cleaning to maintain perfect signal integrity even after years of use in hostile environments. The high end gooseneck mechanics were tested over years in use, as the same solution is provided with the Discreet Acoustics Modular Series. All gooseneck modules are subject to a rigorous quality check to ensure that the gooseneck bends precisely into the desired shape and stays resistant to inadvertent readjustment. A wide range of specialized mounting accessories and installation hardware will make it easy to bring the microphones in place, no matter what situation. All shock mounts are using specially blended rubber material with high mechanical damping for maximum elimination of mechanical vibrations.
