The FLX3_04-ND is a flexible light pipe designed for optical applications. It features a 1.5mm optical core and a 2.2mm polyethylene cable jacket, ensuring durability and effective light transmission. The lens mount is made from optical grade acrylic, while the lens itself is constructed from polycarbonate with a UL rating of 94-V2. The optical core ends are polished to 10 microns for optimal light performance. This light pipe is compatible with various LED mounts, including SMD 22 and THR 22, made from nylon 66 with UL ratings of 94-V2 and 94-HB, respectively. The product is ROHS compliant and offers custom lengths upon request. The panel mounting hole is designed to fit a .171" (4.34mm) diameter, suitable for panel thicknesses ranging from 1/32" (0.79mm) to 1/8" (3.48mm) depending on the specific model used. For best results, it is recommended to use narrow viewing angle non-diffused LEDs with an output power greater than 100mcd.
