Vishay Precision Group Optocouplers 6N136

The 6N135 and 6N136 optocouplers feature a GaAIAs infrared emitting diode coupled with a photodiode and high-speed transistor in a DIP-8 package. They are designed for high-speed signal transmission between electrically isolated circuits, supporting frequencies up to 2 MHz. The isolation voltage is rated at 5300 Vrms, making them suitable for applications requiring significant electrical separation. These devices are TTL compatible and exhibit high common-mode interference immunity. The current transfer ratio (CTR) for the 6N135 is a minimum of 7% and can reach up to 16%, while the 6N136 has a minimum CTR of 19% and a maximum of 35%. The maximum forward current is 25 mA, with a peak forward current capability of 50 mA. The optocouplers are compliant with RoHS and have various agency approvals, including UL and CSA certifications.
