This 4-channel video mux does it all! These VERSITRON VersiVision Series multiplexers support 4 channels of 8-bit digitally encoded broadcast quality video, 2 channels of bi-directional data, 4 channels of bi-directional audio, 4 channels of bi-directional contact closure, plus 1-channel of 10/100 Ethernet overONE multimode or singlemode optical fiber. These products are directly compatible with NTSC, PAL, and SECAM camera systems and support the RS-485 data protocol in addition to the Ethernet data. Units that support RS-422 and RS-232 data are available upon request. LED indicators are provided to instantly monitor the system operating status. These muxes are an ideal solution where a mix of analog cameras and IP/LAN network devices are being used. Plug and Play design ensures adjustment-free installation and operation, and optical adjustments are never required. A typical installation utilizes a 4-channel transmitter unit at the camera end of the link, connected via a single fiber optic cable, to a 4-channel receiver unit at the monitoring end of the link. Devices are available for either standalone or rackmount installation with the FVC18 Chassis.
