ValueTronics International, Inc. RF Sensor R8486A

Description
The R8486A is a used 40 GHz 0.1 Watt RF Sensor from Agilent. Electronic test equipment sensors measure the power of waveforms, such as multi-tone and modulated radiofrequency (RF) waveforms. Sensors gather highly accurate modulation measurements using diode detectors. Additional Features: Excellent SWR for reducing mismatch uncertainty 50 MHz calibration port Accurate calibration and traceability to NIST millimeter-wave sensor calibration The Agilent R8486A is designed for use with the EPM, EPM-P series, 70100A, E1416A and the 43x power meters, and provides extraordinary accuracy and stability. The Agilent R8486A power sensor gives you extremely low SWR even at mm-wave frequencies, and is traceable to the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). A 50 MHz calibration port is included with the power sensor for calibration with the power meter. This calibration provides traceability to NIST at millimeter-wave frequencies, and it eliminates the uncertainties due to temperature changes and the variance in making measurements with different meter/sensor combinations.
