The D3186 is a Pattern Generator from Advantest. A pattern signal generator, or pattern generator, is a type of electronic test equipment engineers use to detect and generate waveforms from a device. An engineer can program a central pattern generator to make a particular digital signal during a test. There are several channels, or outputs, to choose from on a pattern generator. Additional Features: Excellent waveform quality 8M-bit memory, 31 stages for PRBS Multi-channel output : 2 data channels, 3 clock channels, and 7 sub-rate channels Cross point variable for output waveform Burst signal output 3 Vp-p outputs, effective for EA modulators, etc. (option) The Advantest D3186 is used in the Generation of SDH/SONET frame patterns (mixed patterns) which are close to actual data.
