The Agilent 6525A is a tightly regulated supply and provides sufficient output current for many devices not capable of being powered from conventional low current, high voltage supplies. The 6525A includes constant voltage/constant current operation with automatic crossover. Thumbwheel voltage controls give you 0.002% resolution. Two meters, one for voltage and one for current, are standard. The 6525A is short-circuit proof and with the floating output, you have the option of negative or positive voltages up to 2kV off ground.
