The 44727A is a Data Logger from Agilent. Data loggers, or data recorders, collect information over time for a variety of purposes. A data logger uses internal memory and sensors to gather and document information on a 24-hour basis. Receive an accurate and comprehensive picture of the environmental conditions you’re monitoring as the device logs this information around the clock. Use data logging to measure temperature, humidity, wind speed, solar radiation, soil moisture levels, road traffic, tank levels, and a number of other elements.
Additional Features:
The Agilent 44727A is one of the 4-channel Voltage/Current DAC plug-in accessories for the 3852A mainframe.
The 44727A has all four channels configured for voltage outputs. Each channel has remote sense capability for accurate outputs at the test point. The channels can float up to 170 volts peak above ground.
The 44727A consists of a component module and a terminal module. The component module contains both analog and digital sections. The digital section consists of a local controller to interface with the backplane and channel drivers. The analog section is identical for each channel and consists of error amplifiers, sense amplifiers, output buffers, and potentiometers for calibration. The terminal module contains jumpers to configure and calibrate the output channels. The module also contains terminal strips for user connections and calibration resistors for current.
An important feature of the 44727A is monotonicity, which guarantees that the output will never change in a direction other than that programmed. For example, if a voltage channel is set for 5 mV output and then programmed for a 10 mV output, the actual output will never be less than 5 mV.
