Alloy 4047 is used for welding aluminum alloys 3003 and 6061. This alloy is available in cut length and spool forms for Gas Metal Arc welding, Gas Tungsten Arc welding, Plasma Arc welding and Electron Beam welding. Alloy 4047 is also known as Alloy 718 Aluminum Brazing Alloy.
