Universal 310 Cb electrodes are the same as the 310 electrodes except for the addition of columbium and the reduction in the carbon content. This alloy is especially useful in the welding of types 304, 309, 310, 316, 321, and 347. Universal 310 Cb is also used for joining columbium stabilized stainless steel to mild or carbon steels.
