Alloy 17-22ASVM is a controlled chemistry vacuum melted filler metal of premium quality. This alloy is primarily used with the gas tungsten arc and gas metal arc processes for low alloy steels of similar composition where the weld metal is required to have strength comparable to that of the parent metal.
