The UM3304QA is a quad-channel bidirectional voltage-level translator designed for seamless communication between devices operating at different voltage levels. It features auto direction sensing, eliminating the need for a direction pin, which simplifies integration in various applications. The A port supports supply voltages from 1.2V to 3.6V, while the B port accommodates voltages from 1.65V to 5.5V, allowing for versatile low-voltage translation across common voltage nodes such as 1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, and 5V. The device operates at a guaranteed data rate of 20Mbps across its entire voltage range, with the potential for higher rates of up to 100Mbps within specific voltage domains. It includes an output-enable (OE) feature that places all outputs in a high-impedance state when activated. The UM3304QA is packaged in a compact 1.7mm x 2.0mm QFN12 format, making it suitable for space-constrained applications. Additionally, it offers ±4kV ESD protection on the B ports, enhancing reliability in sensitive environments.
