A multi point averaging Pitot tube is normally provided when sufficient straight lengths of duct/stack are available to produce fully developed turbulent flow. The multi point Pitot tube is mounted on the duct/stack by using Lab Impex’s very own universal mounting flange or other methods such as weld fittings or flange stand offs. If straight lengths are not available Lab Impex Systems can provided a bespoke Pitot Array which will become an integral part of the ducting or stack. The array assembly can also contain a section of flow straightener, this will condition the flow to increase the flow measurement accuracy by minimizing the effects of turbulence and cross flows.
