UL Standards & Engagement Folding Rollaway Tables UL 2040

1.1 These requirements apply to folding rollaway tables. The folding tables may have integral benches or stool seating. 1.2 These requirements do not apply to any electrical circuitry integral to or provided with a folding rollaway table. The requirements of the standard covering the intended electrical product to be used with a folding rollaway table shall be applicable to any electrical circuits in the folding rollaway table. Electrical devices shall comply with the requirements for such devices. For example, attachment plugs and receptacles shall comply with the requirements in the Standard for Attachment Plugs and Receptacles, UL 498. Where the requirements of more than one standard are applicable, the most severe requirements shall apply.
