Hayward FLV Series 2" Flanged GFPP Single Length Simplex Bag Filters have all thermoplastic, platinum glass filled polypropylene one-piece injection molded construction, for superior corrosion resistance performance. Filters covers have ergonomic handles that are raised to protect the vent valve that is provided with vessel. Also included are integral pressure relief valve threads and a liquid displacing dome inside cover. Solid, buttress thread cover retains pressure with hand-tight seal. Filter vessel has a self-draining O-ring groove that directs overflow back inside vessel. They have pressure energized face-style seal that prevents basket sticking, chamfered interior shoulder surface that ensures basket sealing and molded-in legs that assure proper basket placement within vessel. There are drill and tap locations and mounting pads for differential pressure gauges. The ergonomically molded basket with lockdown handle is hinged so that it can be fully opened without coming apart allowing for quicker and cleaner bag removal. The lockdown handle and retaining ring that has Turn-N-Lock feature which secures basket and ring together as single entity until necessary to take apart, secures bag within filter vessel. Basket has vertical flute slots that prevent the bag from catching and allows more open flow area. The mounting pad features the same footprint as previous generation filters, it has stand-alone mounting capabilities and it is slotted for easy installation. They feature a pressure rating of 150psi / 10 bar Non-Shock at 70F, and a service temperature of up to 240F / 116C. It rated for up to a 100 GPM flow capacity. Overall size of this filter is 31.83" high and 20.93" wide. Overhead clearance required to remove basket is 15.25".
