The OP805TX is a high-reliability NPN silicon phototransistor in a hermetically sealed TO-18 package, designed for operation in hostile environments and space-limited applications. It has a 12° optical acceptance angle and is matched to infrared sources such as the OP235 and OP236 IREDs. The device operates from -55°C to +125°C and dissipates up to 250 mW, derating linearly above 25°C. It meets MIL-PRF-19500 processing standards. The on-state collector current is min 15.0 mA at 5.0 V and 20 mW/cm² illuminance, with a collector-emitter saturation voltage of 0.40 V under specified conditions. Rise and fall times are 15.0 µs max with 100 Ω load. The collector-base and collector-emitter breakdown voltages are 30 V.
