Description
Used for oil preheating, oil baths, wax and other heat transfer fluids. TRENT FO Series Fintube Heaters are designed to give years of trouble-free service when the tubes are completely covered with fluid, used on correct voltage and kept free of carbonization. TRENT FO Series Fintube Heater casings are extruded, finned, aluminum tubing. The longitudinal fins increase the surface area, thus lowering the watts per square inch and enabling a higher kW to be used in a shorter length. The coiled resistance heating elements are inserted into ceramic cores. Powered refractory is used to fill intervening spaces to readily transmit heat to the aluminum casing. Stainless steel casings are also available. These heaters are designed as fuel oil pre-heaters, or line and suction heaters, and are rated 250°F. Heaters for Heat Transfer Oil Circulation applications which require higher W.P.S.I. are also available with a maximum temperature rating of 550°F.
