The flexible crosswalk signs features two signs to warn motorists coming in both directions of a pedestrian crosswalk. These signs are mounted on a flexible post to absorb impacts and a 30 lb. extruded black and yellow rubber base, with reflective "cats eyes" to increase visibility. The signs are made from 1/8" thick polycarbonate, and measure 36"x12". The signs are covered in Avery Dennison (ASTM Type IV) florescent yellow/green prismatic sheeting, with white high intensity prismatic retro reflective sheeting. The base unit has four predrilled mounting holes for permanent installation if desired. The base also has an easy grip handle for easy relocation. This crosswalk unit is offered in four different sign configurations. Model number SS-25 is "School Zone State Law Stop" for pedestrians in crosswalk, and model SY-25 is "School Zone State Law Yield" for pedestrians in crosswalk.
