The TLP241BP is a Photorelay with over temperature protection (145 °C typ.) and over voltage protection, designed for applications such as HVAC, factory automation, and battery management systems. It is housed in a 4-pin DIP package with a creepage and clearance distance of 7.0 mm minimum, and provides reinforced insulation with a 5000 Vrms isolation voltage. The device has a maximum ON-state current of 1.4 A, an ON-state resistance of 280 mΩ maximum, and requires a trigger LED current of 3 mA maximum. It is UL-recognized, cUL-recognized, and VDE-approved when designated with Option (D4). The part is halogen-free and operates from -40 °C to 110 °C.
