The XCL205/XCL206/XCL207 series is a synchronous step-down micro DC/DC converter that integrates an inductor and control IC in a compact package measuring 2.5mm x 2.0mm x 1.0mm. It operates within an input voltage range of 2.0V to 6.0V, with the XCL20xG variant supporting a minimum of 1.8V. The output voltage can be set internally from 0.8V to 4.0V in increments of 0.05V, with a nominal output current of 600mA. The device operates at a switching frequency of 3.0MHz and features a high efficiency of up to 90% at specific conditions. The series includes three variants: the XCL205 with PWM control, the XCL206 with automatic PWM/PFM switching, and the XCL207 which allows manual mode selection. It incorporates several protection features, including under-voltage lockout and a soft-start function. The device is designed for low power consumption, with a standby current of 1.0OºA or less. Applications include mobile phones, Bluetooth headsets, and portable game consoles, making it suitable for compact electronic devices requiring efficient power management.
