The XC9223B082AR-G is a synchronous step-down DC/DC converter capable of delivering up to 1.0A output current. It features a built-in P-channel driver transistor with a typical ON resistance of 0.21Oc and a synchronous N-channel switching transistor with a typical ON resistance of 0.23Oc, which enhances efficiency. The device operates within an input voltage range of 2.5V to 6.0V and allows for an adjustable output voltage from 0.9V to VIN, set via the feedback (FB) pin. This regulator supports high switching frequencies of either 1.0MHz or 2.0MHz, enabling the use of smaller inductors, making it suitable for compact applications such as HDDs and mobile devices. The XC9223B082AR-G includes features such as adjustable current limits (0.6A or 1.2A), PWM/PFM control modes, and synchronization capabilities with an external clock signal.
