The XC9142C30DER-G is a synchronous step-up DC/DC converter capable of delivering up to 0.8A output current. It operates efficiently with an input voltage range of 0.65V to 6.0V and can generate a fixed output voltage from 1.8V to 5.5V in 0.1V increments. The device features a built-in 0.3Oc N-channel driver and a 0.3Oc P-channel switching transistor, which contribute to its high efficiency. The oscillation frequency can be selected between 1.2MHz and 3.0MHz, allowing for flexibility in application design. This regulator is suitable for various portable applications, including mobile equipment powered by single alkaline or nickel-metal hydride batteries. It includes several protective features such as over-current limit and output short-circuit protection.
