The XC9140A481MR-G is a step-up synchronous DC/DC converter designed for high efficiency in portable applications. It operates with an input voltage range of 0.9V to 5.5V and can start up from as low as 0.9V, making it suitable for devices powered by single alkaline or nickel-metal hydride batteries. The converter features an internal N-channel driver transistor with a resistance of 0.6Oc and a P-channel synchronous rectifier switch transistor with a resistance of 0.65Oc. This device supports output voltage settings from 1.8V to 5.0V with a maximum output current of 80mA at 3.3V output. It utilizes Pulse Frequency Modulation (PFM) control, which contributes to a low quiescent current of 6.3OºA, enhancing battery life in applications.
