The XC6501B28AMR-G is a high-speed, low-noise CMOS linear voltage regulator capable of delivering up to 200mA of output current. It operates within a voltage range of 1.4V to 6.0V and provides fixed output voltages from 2.0V to 5.0V with an accuracy of ¬±1%, as well as lower voltage options from 1.2V to 1.95V with a tighter tolerance of ¬±0.02V. This regulator features internal phase compensation, allowing it to function without an external load capacitor, which simplifies design and reduces component count. The device has a low operating current of 13OºA and can be placed in a stand-by mode, reducing current consumption to less than 0.1OºA when the CE pin is activated. It includes protection features such as a current limit circuit and short circuit protection, ensuring reliable operation. The dropout voltage is specified at 150mV under a load of 100mA at an output voltage of 2.8V, and it offers a ripple rejection of 50dB at 1kHz. The XC6501B28AMR-G is suitable for applications in smartphones, portable gaming devices, wireless modules, Bluetooth devices, and digital TV tuners.
